Jon Brandt |
Jon Brandt has been head of the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at NC State University since December 1991. He teaches a career seminar course to undergraduates. He is actively engaged in all phases of departmental administration. Prior to coming to NC State, Brandt was Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Missouri and Co-Director of the Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute (FAPRI). His research, teaching, and extension interests have been in the areas of commodity modeling, policy, livestock marketing, and consumer demand (with emphasis on meats).
