Extension and Research Interest: Ted Feitshans has developed a dynamic and vital Extension education program in environmental and agricultural law. Currently he provides programming in liability avoidance and risk management, estate planning and business succession, workouts and bankruptcy, environmental compliance, and land use. Applied research interests include pesticide drift regulation and labeling, farmland preservation, and water quality. He is currently developing materials on water quality compliance and improvement for a web-based tool for farmers under a cooperative agreement with the USDA/EPA National Agricultural Compliance Assistance Center.
