Research Interest:Income taxation of individuals and business entities, machinery economics, and farm business management and the profitable continuation of "family firms" to succeeding generations.

Specialty:Current extension responsibilities are to provide resources and program leadership in the areas of taxation, agricultural information systems, estate planning, and farm management. As Director of the Income Tax Schools, I provide leadership to this extension program to benefit taxpayers as well as professional tax preparers in the state of North Carolina.
